Bodegas Valdemar’s, Conde Valdemar Finca Alto Cantabria Rioja Blanco, is produced with 100% Viura grapes from old vines which were planted in 1970. Finca Alto Cantabria was the first barrel fermented white wine in Rioja in an attempt by founder, Jess Martnez Bujanda, to offer a Viura wine with more body and complexity. The Finca Alto Cantabria earned a place on Wine Spectators Top 100 in 2012. Straw yellow in colour the wine offers intense fruity aromas of peach, apricot and white flowers, well-assembled with the spicy notes provided by the oak ageing.
