The vineyards of the prestigious Chteau Fleur de Lisse are located on the sun-drenched hillsides of Saint-milion. The Chateau Fleur de Lisse is a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc grown on rocky limestone soils which adds some beautiful freshness to the wine. The property is now owned by the Teycheney family who are passionate about organic and biodynamic farming and own a high proportion of old vines.

Known for its complexity, the wine is plush and clearly Merlot dominant on the nose with a glut of cherries, plums plus blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry with subtle notes of graphite, hazelnut, chocolate, liquorice and spice. The generous palate is smooth and rounded with terrific balance of fruit, freshness and toasty oak from 18 months aging in barrels (30% new oak). The finish is fruity, long lasting and delicious. Pair with Asian cuisine, beef dishes, and cheese.
